There is a very real penumbra between poetry and inanity. The text on this site dwells within that area, at once strikingly incomprehensible and enigmatically acceptable as poetry.
We take comments from message boards and comment threads from websites and change their punctuation, capitalization, and layout (and occasionally truncate them or correct misspellings or funny “Internet” abbreviations), and magically derive poetry. We live in a remix culture, ladies and gentlemen, and this is to be celebrated. Found poetry is fine. Youtube found poetry is better.
